Payment of sessions

Payment can be made via Credit/debit card, PayPal, American Express, Bank transfer, or cash. Transaction fees of 1.75% will be applied if payment is made via Credit/debit card, PayPal, American Express.

 

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel the session, please give the practitioner at least 24 hours’ notice. If the session is canceled or you have not turned up to the session, the deposit will be withheld. At the end of each day, time is precious. Therapy businesses are always busy, and time slots can be very valuable. Respecting the time of a therapist is greatly appreciated. If you can’t make it, please let us know 24 hours before the session.

 

Rescheduling Policy

Out of respect for the Practitioners’ time, please give the practitioner 24 hours’ notice when needing to reschedule your session. If the session is rescheduled in less than 24 hours, the deposit will be withheld to pay for the time slot.

 

Can I Get a Refund if I Cancel and Give 24 Hours’ Notice?

Yes, you will be refunded any payments minus any transaction fees; otherwise, the credit will go towards the next session.

 

Termination of Services:

MindElation holds the right to suspend treatment and refuse further services if:

  • Client becomes abusive to the therapist (including texts)
  • Client continues to postpone or cancel appointments.
  • Client is a ‘No Show’ (no notice of failure to appear)
  • Client does not fulfill financial obligations. E.g., Does not pay for therapy.

 

Confidentiality Policy

Your privacy is important to us, and we believe that therapy/coaching is most effective when clients feel comfortable speaking openly with their therapist. This means that our client’s personal information cannot be shared without their consent.

 

Making Appointments

Attending your scheduled appointments is your responsibility. If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify and discuss this with the practitioner where possible; we require 24 hours’ notice. If you do not attend three appointments in a row, your appointment will no longer be available. You will then need to contact the practitioner to book another session.

 

When working with a practitioner, it is important to honor your commitment to attend appointments. It is helpful if you:

  1. Spend time between scheduled sessions thinking about what you have discussed with your practitioner.
  2. Follow through on any actions you agreed to take.
  3. Take the initiative to bring up issues or topics to talk about with your practitioner.
  4. Please always be on time for the session. Therapists book clients back-to-back sometimes, so it is thoughtful to respect the therapist’s time.

 

Deposit to book your sessions.

Sessions cannot be booked without a paid deposit. The deposit can be transferred into the bank account below. Without the transferred deposit, the sessions are not secured and will be offered to another person.
