Questions about family counselling

Family counselling supports better communication, helps resolve conflict, and strengthens relationships within the family. It can also assist during life changes, emotional difficulties, and behavioural concerns.

This depends on the situation. Sometimes all family members attend together, while in other cases only selected members participate. The approach is tailored to each family’s needs.

Even if not everyone participates, counselling can still be helpful. Positive changes from one or more members can influence the overall family system.

The length of counselling depends on each family’s needs and the issues being addressed. Some families notice positive change within a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing support over a longer period.
